Andreja Odar concluded her studies in May 2000 at the Graduate Management School and was awarded the degree of first cycle graduate in business. In August 2012 she successfully concluded the part-time study of law at the Faculty of Law in Maribor with the thesis entitled “Substantive insurance of fulfilment and payment of tax obligations”.

During her studies she gained a lot of experience working on the project of updating the registration of real estate of the Supreme Court of Slovenia. She continued her career path at the land register, followed by the enforcement department of the District Court in Koper. During one year of work at the Administrative Unit in Koper she learnt about administrative procedures in practice in the field of traffic, events, societies and procedures for determining residence.

Between March 2011 and June 2018, she was employed as a controller of legal entities at the Finance Office in Koper where she gained a lot of experience in the field of taxation, namely in relation to the business of legal entities, sole traders and natural persons that pursue business activities, and personal income tax and contributions.

She also speaks Italian.

She mainly deals with tax and administrative law as well as land register and enforcement law.
